Getting Started

Who can apply to supply products through Loca-Roo?

We welcome Australian suppliers, brands, and businesses that offer quality, lawful products suitable for an online marketplace. Products must meet our quality standards and comply with Australian regulations.


Do I need to be based in Australia?

We primarily support Australian suppliers. Products must be supplied and fulfilled within Australia unless otherwise agreed.


Is Loca-Roo an NDIS provider?

No. Loca-Roo is a general online marketplace. Some of our customers may be NDIS service providers purchasing non-consumable products, but Loca-Roo does not provide NDIS services or funding.


How do I apply to become a supplier?

You can apply via our Apply to Sell With Us page by submitting your business details and product information. Our team will review your application and contact you with next steps.


Fees & Pricing

Are there any upfront fees to join?

No. We do not charge any sign-up, listing, or subscription fees.


Do you require wholesale pricing?

Yes. All suppliers must provide wholesale pricing. This allows us to cover platform, marketing, and operational costs while maintaining competitive retail pricing.


Can I change my pricing later?

Pricing changes may be requested and reviewed. Any updates must be agreed upon before being applied to live listings.


Products & Listings

What types of products can I sell?

We accept a wide range of lifestyle, business, and consumer products. All products must be lawful, safe, and appropriate for sale to Australian customers.


Who creates the product listings?

Product listings are created in collaboration with suppliers. Suppliers are responsible for providing accurate product information, images, and specifications.


Can Loca-Roo edit my product listings?

Yes. We may edit listings to improve clarity, consistency, or compliance with marketplace standards. We do not alter core product details without consultation.


Orders & Fulfilment

How are orders fulfilled?

Fulfilment arrangements vary by product and agreement. Orders may be fulfilled directly by the supplier or coordinated through agreed logistics arrangements.


Who handles shipping?

Shipping responsibilities are confirmed during onboarding. Suppliers must meet agreed dispatch timelines and packaging standards.


What happens if a product is out of stock?

Suppliers must notify Loca-Roo promptly of any stock issues. Repeated stock problems may affect ongoing listings.


Delivery & Returns

Who is responsible for returns and refunds?

Suppliers must comply with Australian Consumer Law. Loca-Roo may assist with customer communication, but suppliers remain responsible for product quality and resolution.


What if a product is damaged or faulty?

Suppliers are responsible for addressing issues relating to faulty, damaged, or misrepresented products in line with Australian Consumer Law.


Marketing & Promotion

Will Loca-Roo market my products?

Yes. Products may be promoted through the Loca-Roo website, curated collections, email campaigns, and other marketing channels. Marketing inclusion is not guaranteed for all products at all times.


Can I opt out of marketing?

By listing products on Loca-Roo, you agree to allow us to use product information and images for promotional purposes.


Payments & Invoicing

How are payments handled?

Payment arrangements are discussed during onboarding and depend on the agreed supply model.


Will I receive sales reports?

Yes. Suppliers may receive sales or performance updates as part of ongoing partnership management.


Legal & Compliance

Do I keep ownership of my brand and content?

Yes. Suppliers retain ownership of their intellectual property. Loca-Roo is granted a non-exclusive right to use product content for platform and marketing purposes.


What laws must suppliers comply with?

Suppliers must comply with Australian Consumer Law and any relevant safety, labelling, or regulatory requirements.


Can my supplier account be suspended?

Yes. Accounts may be suspended or terminated for breaches of our Supplier Terms & Conditions, including fulfilment issues, misrepresentation, or repeated complaints.


Leaving the Marketplace

Can I stop supplying products?

Yes. Suppliers may request removal from the marketplace at any time, subject to fulfilment of outstanding orders.


What happens to live orders if I leave?

All existing orders must be completed or resolved before a supplier relationship is fully closed.
